Provides reassurance that the reagents have been added in the correct order and that the sample extract has been properly neutralised.

positive The Positive Control
Demonstrates the functionality of the antibodies that detect Group A Streptoccocal antigen. It will always be produced in a valid test whether or not Strep A antigen is present in the sample extract.

The Negative Control
Indicates a non-specific binding entity in the specimen

that could cause a false positive result.
